F1 drivers and teams for 2025
The full line-up of drivers for the 2025 F1 season has not yet been confirmed. However one significant move has already been announced: After 12 years of driving to Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton will join Ferrari.Other drivers have already confirmed their commitments to other teams. Max Verstappen will remain at Red Bull and Lando Norris is to stay at McLaren. Hamilton will join Charles Leclerc at Ferrari, replacing Carlos Sainz Jnr.
No new teams or engine manufacturer have been announced for the 2025 F1 season. The drivers confirmed so far are as follows:

Calendar
The full schedule of races for the 2025 F1 season has not yet been confirmed. However the calendar is expected to be much the same as the previous year.
Over 20 events are already known to have contracts to hold grands prix in 2025. It is not yet known which of these will be sprint race rounds:

Rules
The 2025 F1 season is due to be the 12th and final year for the V6 hybrid turbo power unit formula, which was introduced in 2014. F1 intends to introduce new regulations requiring revised hybrid power units the season after.
No major changes to F1’s chassis regulations have been announced for 2025. The sporting rules are also expected to remain largely unchanged.
