The Ferrari F150° Italia was raced by the team during the 2011 season. It was originally launched as the Ferrari F150 but the team had to change its name following an objection from Ford, who use the F150 name for a line of trucks.
The 2011 season proved a disappointment for Ferrari. Fernando Alonso, who had come close to winning the championship with them the year before, scored the team’s only victory in the British Grand Prix.
