The Buddh International Circuit joined the Formula One calendar in 2011 when it held the first Indian Grand Prix. The purpose-built facility is on the outskirts of New Delhi.
Its opening sector is mainly composed of long straights with some changes of gradient and wide corner entries designed to encourage overtaking.
The final part of the lap features a sequence of medium-to-high speed corners including a distinctive long, looping right-hander in full view of a large grandstand.
Buddh International Circuit holds its third race in 2013 however it will not be on the 2014 F1 calendar.
